Job Title: QA Editor

Job Responsibilities
As a QA Editor, your main responsibilities will include conducting QA checks on transcripts and articles, proofreading for grammar and punctuation, making necessary corrections for consistency and clarity, and providing feedback to improve writer performance. You will also be responsible for reporting issues with low-scoring transcripts and communicating effectively with the team.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have strong attention to detail, grammar proficiency, experience using editing tools, and the ability to complete tasks within given timeframes. Experience in editing legal or technical content, familiarity with SEO practices, and previous QA or content editing experience are preferred.
Team Participation
While this role is primarily remote and individual, occasional participation in team meetings, one-on-one sessions, and coaching sessions may be required. Our editors work together to ensure that our content meets the high standards expected by our clients.
Compensation
Your work with Speakeasy is paid on a per-assignment basis, with an average of approximately 10 hours of QA work per week. You will be paid weekly through direct deposit. Additional compensation is provided for approved QA revisions that take more than 30 minutes based on your hourly rate.
